GAME CHARACTER POWER-UP PEDOMETER

 

Change4Life is UK government initiative to encourage more exercise and healthier eating. The question was how to get kids away from their video games. My strategy was not to fight it but work with it. The more kids exercise in the real world, the stronger their game character would become via a pedometer. All kids had to do was play outside, then connect the pedometer to their computer and specially adapted video games from participating producers. Then the fight is on.

CARLSBERG COLOSSEUM DIGITAL

Put together a virtual band from separate YouTube clips of musicians who have recorded their part of a famous rock track. Select from singers, guitarists, drummers or whatever instruments people have chosen. Maybe a Tibetan horn for a change. The system would put together a virtual band for you. The public then rates your band. with the best, and worst bands, put together for real. See the whole presentation PDF >

LG MODEL WASH DIGITAL

Make the new LG fast wash, big load washing machine more "sexy" they said. I suggested a live website featuring a large group of models who undress and put all their clothes into the machine to demonstrate its huge capacity. Whilst the machine washes, the models occupy themselves whilst naked – just doing modelly things like relaxing, reading Shakespeare, playing ping pong, cooking, knitting and building model airplanes. The viewer can select a different camera to watch each model. At the end of the 45 minute wash cycle, another group of models put a load in.

HEINEKEN CHEER FOR A BEER APP

Can't be at the Rugby World Cup in person? Then be there in spirit. Write a chant and send it to the Cheer For A Beer app. If one of your countrymen films themselves singing your cheer at the game, buy them a beer via the app and the official sponsor Heineken.

Cocaine awareness campaigns typically focus on the mental and physical side effects of the drug. But I thought there was a more powerful strategy – If people don't care what happens to their own health, then what about the health of others?
