I started life as a graphic designer, not from birth, but not long after. This lead me to work in the in-house design departments of ad agencies including TBWA London. After an opportunity to create some print ad concepts for Apple iPod in its early days, which I'm proud to say were rejected by Steve Jobs personally, my creative conceptual side was awoken.

This exciting transformation led me to become an Art Director at digital agency TribalDDB London, from where I witnessed first hand the digital transformation of the industry and its attempts to integrate with the traditional side of the business – sometimes smoothly, but often like a blender trying to mix oil, water and a bag of nails.

Since then I've worked at agencies Publicis, VCCP and BWM/Dentsu Sydney, with long term freelance stints at Sydney agencies Droga5, Saatchi&Saatchi, TBWA and AnalogFolk. I've delivered TV and digital campaigns for VW cars, Guinness Ireland, Renault, Royal Bank of Scotland, The Guardian, The Sunday Times and Panasonic with pro bono work for the charity Anxiety New Zealand Trust.
